Starting on the ten year anniversary of its release.
I bought this game the week it came out back in 2003, but never finished it. At one point, I had made it very far in the game but my Xbox broke so I sent it in for repairs.
MS then preceded to send me back a different Xbox (must not have been able to repair the one I sent in). Grata, except all of my game saves were on the Xbox I sent in and I had none of my saves backed up.
I restarted this gam several times, but never made it back to the point where I was before my Xbox crash.
Now that this game is turning ten this month, I feel the need to complete this game for the first time. I'm going to put all other gaming on hold, bust out the old Xbox, and finally complete Knights of the Old Republic.
I will start playing on the ten year anniversary of its original release. Does anyone else plan on playing through this game in celebration as well?
Ten years ago I must have played through this game and KOTOR II at least 15 times. Since then I have switched to more PC gaming (playing a TON of SWTOR) and will definitely replay this game again, but on the computer this time. I LOVE the story lines of both games and how they turn out based on the choices you make. Definitely looking forward to giving it one more play through! This game is such a classic.
I'm playing through this game again as well. This was a day one purchase for me. I was up for 3 days straight powering through the game. I made it all the way to the Starforge where my scout/sentinel with terrible attribute distribution was destroyed repeatedly by waves of dark Jedi. Now I can't remember if I ever went back and finished the game.
