Geryon always stood out to me for some reason. I loved everything about it.

The BGM seemed so different, that surely helped make it feel distinct to me.

I noticed that the case for my game claims that it includes all the levels from the pc version, but there are several levels from the pc version missing from the game itself!

I hate that. Why wouldn't the PS1 get all the levels?

Technical limitations I suppose. What irritates me is that the packaging makes false claims! :p

It's hard to think of the old Doom games as being too much for the technical limitations of a console. o_o Weird.

What's worse is that they were too lazy/unwilling to release the game on 2 CD's (which would have definitely allowed to add 30 more levels about).
Stupid tire! Ya friggin' tire! You think you're better than me?! I'll kick your ass!

Were companies scared of doing that back then, worried people wouldn't want to mess with multiple disks?

Nah, it was just Williams Entertainment laziness.

I suppose I'll probably never play more Doom of any sort, either. Since by Doom 3 they kinda abandoned Sony and thus me as well. >_>

Final Doom for the PS1 is missing a HUGE amount of levels from the PC version. I played the PS1 version first and when I played it for the PC I was really surprised how many levels were missing from the PS1 game.
