+R (Guilty Gear XX Accent Core +R) is the latest revision to Guilty Gear that is currently the tournament standard in Japan that has yet to reach consoles (meanwhile, GGXX AC+ was re-released digitally for modern consoles a few months ago). It's another heavy revision, much like going from Slash to Accent Core, whereas AC to AC+ was fairly light with minor tweaks and throwing Justice and Kliff back into the game (albeit in their broken, overpowered, and wholly tourney-banned state; they were balanced for +R, and are, for the first time ever, tourney-legal).
Oh, I didn't realize they made a followup to Accent Core. Honestly, I wasn't all that fond of 'Core in the first place, so that's not surprising, but if +R is a major change, I'd find that worth checking out.
Just finished Spec Ops: The Line. To sum it up...wow.
Not a good, "that was awesome/chilling" wow.
But a "...are you f***ing serious" wow.
Sigh...back to Da Capo. Miharu can distract me.
"Oh man, we're in trouble!" "Come now. The worst that can happen is we all die."
