I know this was more of a Fallout community so I dunno if TES interests anyone here (I've actually never touched the series until right now on the Switch), but I'm just curious if anyone has any advice on how to best enjoy the game n all that.

Either way it's pretty fun so far, but I much prefer Fallout (pre 4's) leveling system... heck even 4's is not as bad because at least you get experience for doing quests. But besides that I really like the game. Only played for a day and my sneak unintentionally already rose like 20-25 levels. Just killed my first dragon. Barely know what I am really doing yet, like still getting the hang of things (I'm REALLY used to Fallout so all the slight differences really throw me off), but it's fun.

Anyone else here like the game?

Also hai. How u?

I played it without mods and it was better than a 4/10.

It's not a bad game, but I think it has some issues. At this rate it will be the last game decent game Bethesda develops.

It doesn't make me want to vomit my insides out like Fallout 4 does so it's instantly better in that regard.

It does have some jank tho, and a lot of things in it seem worse than Fallout 3/NV, but fun so far. Going thief kitty, though at this stage my playstyle is pretty general minus a good investment into sneak.

Oh, s***! I forgot to look up Fallout 4 PS4 mods for you. I'll go make a guide for you about that this week and make a topic about it here. I'll do a guide to modding F4 on the PC and PS4, mainly for you, but for anyone else that may be interested.

What causes the motion sickness? There may be a mod for that. I'm not particularly sensitive to motion sickness from games or transportation, thankfully. But, I'm somewhat leery of VR. I do want to get a Rift or Vive when there are mo VR games, but I don't want to invest hundreds of dollars into a piece of tech that will make me sick and be basically unplayable, so who knows?

I haven't played Skyrim yet, but I want to work up to it form Morrowind.

I have most recently started ES I: Arena, and am having a good time with it. LOL; you have to actually hold and move the mouse to attack, IIRC! I had to read the freaking manual that came with the game from Gog to realize that. I'm playing as a Redguard Nightblade named 'Bagger Vance', because I wanted to call my save, "The Legend of Bagger Vance." I'm such a nob! XD

I'm not entirely sure... I assume it is the very narrow FOV, but that's just a guess from what I have heard people say. Fallout 3 and NV rarely gave me problems, though if I played for a really long time they might, so I do not assume it is the FPS (older first person games like GoldenEye really make me barfy), since like Fallout 4 has better framerate than those older games. It might be the movement, but it's been a while so I am not sure.

A lot of people have said the FOV is too narrow and some people said it also made them motion sick so that is why I assumed that. However it is also just an issue for me with some games, but it just seems weird that FO4 would be one of them compared to the other two that run worse.

As said I should probably look into anti motion sickness medicine while playing. I like the game.......... mostly (I HATE how they changed the dialogue and have voiced MCs), want to play it.

Arena, is that like a really old one?

But anyway

-Try turning off motion controls if you have them on
-Turn up FOV if you can
-Try playing in 3rd person and see if that fixes anything

I've never had a motion sickness issue with Skyrim, but from what I looked up those are the fixes. Idk how they apply to the Switch version.

Yeah but don't bother with it, if you want something like that play Might and Magic instead.
