Usually for the big game, there were long list of preorder, and one day before release, gamers will be camped all night in front of game shop in my country. This never hapened with DmC. My local store only had 2 copies. Buyer were only Me, a teenage boy that re purchased my copy when i returned and an older dude that i meet in that game store. This game not bad IMO. The full price was the least of my problem, but I had the chance for 100 % refund of my money, Why not, So i take it and bought another game
Wow, even with the 2 week head start and the multiplatform handicap it still cannot outsell Ni No Kuni! I guess Capcom better sit up and take notice with how well that and Metal Gear Rising is selling people still want to buy Japanese made games (ofcourse it will never happen based on their current decision making track record but one can only hope)
