Unlike the other demons Dante had met in the island, Nelo didn't immediately attack him, even though he had the chance to sneak upon him, instead, he confronted him face to face and challenged him to a duel, and later, despite his recent defeat, Nelo challenges Dante one more time while using all of his strength.
Are you telling me there's no honor in challenging someone to a fair duel compared to backstabbing him instead? There's no guts in standing face to face against a famed devil hunter? There's no award of honor for Nelo if he was to defeat Dante once and for all?
