This isn't really such good news, though. All it means is that Capcom will move to even more lazy cash-ins, social RPGs and free to play iPhone games, and just try to do anything they can to stay afloat that doesn't involve making good games that are actually worth buying.
Capcom executives' logic: "Oh crap, the decision we made lost us all our money. Let's start axing people who most likely had nothing to do with the decisions that got us into this mess in the first place, so we can keep our status and egos and not have to take responsibility for anything!"
This is what I hate about businesses: the problem itself is most likely not addressed. Then the person making the decisions that led the company into the mess, doesn't take proper responsibility for the mess they made, so that they can keep making that same mess over and over again.
More than likely the "great visionary" that came up with all of the s***, that got Capcom into the mess they're in, gets to keep their job while a bunch of scapegoats are taken to the slaughter house.
Why doesn't some country just start rounding up ethnic minorities in their native country, take a religious symbol as theirs(all the while completely contradicting what it stands for), follow a dictator's crazy vision and start systematically killing the before mentioned ethnic minority while they're at it? It's not like it's been done before, right? Or, hell, what's the worst that could happen by repeating something that was clearly a VERY appalling decision in history, amirite?
Stay classy "a whale's *word for a woman's reproductive organ*"(does someone get the reference?).
To be fair, no one has unlimited patience, and at times this board could come close flustering the Buddha.-geekneck99 Freedom requires responsibility.
