Your TV is ancient and dated big time. I use a 40 inch lcd Bravia XBR 240.
I wasn't boasting my TV as the biggest badass on the planet. I was making the point that with some of my TV's shortcomings compared to today's TVs, it still showcases brilliant results which are much more than enough to be content with. It is more than capable of showcasing just how gorgeous Metal Gear Solid 4 and BH/RE5 truly look. When I finally took sight of BH/RE6 on my TV, I was heavily surprised because I had originally expected a graphical improvement over BH/RE5. But clearly, BH/RE6 has received a slight degrade in the graphics department in comparison to BH/RE5. Now don't get me wrong, BH/RE6 looks more than great. But BH/RE5 is graphically superior between the two.
Oh and BTW, my TV's screen is bigger than yours:
F*** "Neo" Resident Evil! NEVER FORGET Rockman/Mega Man, Breath of Fire, Shinji Mikami's Biohazard and Onimusha!
Really talking about graphical fidelity on these ancient pieces of hardware is kind of a perspectives thing. Sure it's impressive they managed to make it look as good as it does on this limited 7-8 year old hardware but in the overall grand scheme of things, it's nothing to special. Any decent PC title/port from the last 4 years is going destroy the graphical fidelity of most any console game.
