I dont know if any of you guys checked the leaderboards recently, but i went to look in which position i was ranked and then became very surprised to see that the 2 actual top scores are 9999999.

What do you guys think about this? Personally i'd like to see both of their accounts banned.

Those are hackers. All of the 9,999,999 scores aren't legit, neither is the 1.6 million by mi99zuno in Mining the Depths solo (he's one of the 9,999,999 hackers), nor is the 2 and 3 million scores in duo.

It happens in every multiplayer game in existence. Capcom would literally have to hire somebody just to delete the records and keep cheaters off the leaderboards. Waste of money.

Thing is though, Capcom has been removing hacked scores off of the XBOX 360 leaderboards. They just need to turn their attention to the PS3 now.

They should. Since they plan on charging us out the ass for DLC anyway, keep the leaderboards clean. Ban those players or something. I've never cared much about top scores, and that crap is a good reason not to.

I really dont mind the hack by itself, since my goal isnt to be on the first place, but i feel bad for those who did their best and reached top 10.

Capcom should do something about it, since mercenaries mode is the reason why players still play the game after finishing the campaigns (not all the players i mean, but most of them.)

Yeah, you're right, it's not fair to those of us that have reached the top ten legitimately. It takes a lot of effort to get that far, and when some d-bag hacker goes in there and gets the top spot while cheating...
