Jump scares are as much horror as someone jumping out and yelling "Boo!" at you.
REmake and RE4, the former walking over dead zombies and wondering if they were Crimson Heads yet, first encountering Hunters and being killed by one jumping from off the damn camera T_T, along with a few other times. RE4 Regeneradors, the maze, Verdugo.
C2 FC: 0562-2516-9316 Idiot definition of the week, Generic: Any game that is in first person and/or involves guns. Use: "Dur, Bioshock is so generic"
When I was little, RE1's jump scares always terrified me. I also screamed whenever Mr. X would crash through a wall in RE2 and when Nemesis showed up in RE3. I grew out of it mostly, but I still do get that tense feeling for RE2 and RE3.
Regeneradors in RE4 give me that uneasy feeling, as does Ada's Chapter 4 Boss in this game.
Last time my brother played Lost in Nightmares in RE5 on Professional though, we were screaming quite a bit at the part where you have to get the cranks. It was great fun haha.
