I saw him as a fly. What if he was like a bee, though? I could imagine Nicolas Cage freaking out at Simmons' insect-like appearance. Almost reminds me of Hibachi from DoDonPachi.
You can bet Saint Nicolas Cage would see him and proceed to punch out a random woman while wearing a bear suit. I thought the fights failed. Not because of all the fights, but because there was no build up. He had more screen time as a boss than as a character.
I liked all the Simmons boss fights. And no I didn't think they looked too ridiculous, as that's always been the greatest aspect of the bosses in Resident Evil. Remember Birkin's final form?
If I have one complaint, and one only. It's how he finally dies. It wasn't the rocket that kills him. It was all the lightning strikes that killed him. It wasn't getting run over by a train that kills him. It wasn't all the assault rifle, sniper, it wasn't the machine gun in Ada's helicopter, it wasn't the explosive barrels, incendiary grenades, remote bombs, shotgun, and magnum shots Ioaded into him that killed him.
No. What killed was getting stabbed in the back as he fell. THAT killed him. The rocket launcher? Constant lightning strikes? Meh, he'll walk it off. Stabbed in the back?! Oh no that's just too much!
