Been out for weeks and it hasn't even been pirated yet lolz I'm guessing the terrible character design is to blame. Even knowing the Shadow Hearts guy is involved it's hard to overlook such a monstrosity

I've only watched 1 video of it, and it looks like they slapped this game together in a month.

Those so called "triditional Japanese RPG" is a dying breed.

Mostly because of the U.S. and its lack of interest in the genre.

Or how about the dying of innovation and the musk of stagnancy in the genre. I mean, it's not like there's even any WRPG's on the PSP to take people's attention away. JRPG's are losing interest in Japan as well; hence Imageepoch's marketing ad to try to generate more interest in the genre again.
I tried this game out for a minute. The men look like women (not out of the norm for a JRPG I guess) but enemies are cardboard cutouts that dont animate and the damn battle engine works like some sort of confusing slot machine.
There are good JRPG's but this doesn't seem to be one of them.

According to credits character designer is Miyako Kato who did character design for all three Shadow Hearts games.
