Full dragon form is awesome. I want to make a build just based on that.

The paladin armor is amazing! Throw the Catarina helm on with it, and you got a sexy beast. Honestly though, if you don't like the looks, you don't have to wear it. 20-30 points of defense will only lessen damage by maybe 10-15 points.

Wh... what? Away with you and your stupid helm. Paladin armor is awesome, don't you dare use it with that helm.

This.

I would use Lautrec's. I love the set for the looks and stats. If youre worried about 30 points, just use the ring of steel defense and Ring of Favor and Protection. That should, given END rating, allow you to midroll and have 50+ defense, plus more stamina and health.

If you have the patience to get the 80 scales you need for maxing the covenant rank, it's really fun. The Roar at +3 wrecks things, and people tend to misjudge how far it can reach.

Roar + Avelyn is also pretty hilarious.

Ummmm. Why no? Is that considered cheap?

I honestly dont care about armor. I dont wear helmets because it hides the face, so i keep that feathered crown on.

and I dress my character the way i want. sure if some armor is dumb weak i will enhance it, but generally I rather look good and move fast than wear a ton of armor.

I say, as long as your armor doesn't make you slower than you want to be, then who cares about the numbers. I love the ninja outfit and it isn't strong at all, but extremely light.

So yeah man, no worries. Those 30 ponts wont really matter much unless you're doing pvp.
