Or is it the beginning? Or something like a middle?! You never know with this distorted timeflow stuff. Maybe Logan was naked when he arrives at the Archives. Maybe your killing him had him respawn at Firelink Shrine, from where he decided to go and check out Sen's Fortress.

The thing about hollows is that they deserve to die. I know that doesn't answer your question but you had to be told.
