Just did in Anor Londo. I invaded a JP guy and he was outside of Gwyndolin's fog gate. He fat-rolled and buffed his BKGS, then did a Well, What is It? as I acted confused. Naturally, I used the moment to Dark Bead him in the face (he was only SL 70 and had a mere 800 health, surprisingly).

This is why the new glitch is not viable. Fat rolling or medium rolling will give you ample opportunity to set yourself up for an attack whether it be BS, dark bead, etc.

That may be the case if you're waiting for your opponent to get in your face before buffing, but if you're in the forest or something there is plenty of time to get buffed while an invader approaches...
Why? Because **** you is why.

It may even be possible for you to do it while fast rolling.

But I don't like to glitch so if I encounter one of these fat-rolling buff glitchers, I'll probably avoid them until the buff expires xD

Just because you need to fatroll to accomplish the buff doesn't mean that only fatrollers will use this.

You'd just need to switch out your Havel Gauntlets or whatever after buffing.

Yeah, unfortunately that's most likely what will happen if we see one of these glitchers.

Fat roll because it's the easiest way to perform and then switch out armor pieces to fast-roll again :/

Fix it in 1.07 Fromsoft.... I mean if once you fix the Oolacile glitches, if you ever do.
I used to have an account in 2002, but Gamefaqs ate it.
