So after playing Skyrim for 80 hours, I finally looked at the cheats section and I saw this little gem.

Infinite Skill Level Ups *new*
1. Obtain Oghma Infinium but do not read it yet, Breezehome and the Alchemy Lab for it 2. You may want to save. 3. Open bookshelf, read the book, and select skill set 4. Close the book but not the bookshelf, then store the book on the shelf. 5. Take the book back off the shelf and select (Do not read) 6. Repeat this process for endless skill gain.

Has anyone used this to get past level 70 or so? If so do you continue to get perks?
I haven't tried this cheat yet I want my main guy to be legit, I'll probably create a new character just to try this out. But I'd be a great help if someone else had done it first and can confirm.

So it's a definite hard cap? I thought that was just the cap from getting all levels to 100, apparently with this cheat you can level indefinitely.

It is the cap from getting all your skills to 100. And since that's what the cheat does...
Fallout New Vegas: The central conflict is essentially; US Army Vs. Roman Empire Vs. Howard Hughes and his army of robots. People still complained about it.

Well, you level up by raising your skill levels.
And if you can't raise them higher than 100...

The book increases your skills, which increases level. So unless the book can increase your skills past 100, you'll have to stop leveling eventually.

Ogma Infinium (terrible spelling) in Oblivion raised skills past 100 if they were already 100.

ALL skills cap at 100. The highest level with all skills at 100 is 81. The exploit can not raise your skills past 100, only up to 100.
