I've been wearing it for a while now and i dunno... Kinda feels lame. It doesn't look that great (the helmet especially), and also it feels like i already made the best armor and its like ehh, i haven't even done the main quest yet (But my save is at 70ish hours and i'm level 47). I dunno, feels kinda like i skipped a bunch of cool armor, i barely wore elven or glass for a while. I guess it's my fault for leveling smithing.

Anyway my questions are this...

1) Is there any cooler looking armor i can get that won't be THAT much worse?
2) If i don't wear a helmet will it really gimp me?
3) Is there a dragon priest mask that is good for light armor wearers (Mostly stealth char but lately i've just been charging in with sword and shield)

yeah...

Not having a helmet will only really "gimp" you if you have perks in light armour that are only in effect when you have to have full light armour on, so perks like "Good Fit" or something like that. Other than that its only really the armour rating from the helmet your losing which usually isnt that high anyway

1) Nightingale Armor

This. Although, to me, it feels kind of wrong wearing that in the open. I tend to put it on for stealthy missions at night and just wear clothes in daylight.

Not having a helmet will make you less effective (can't take advantage of the 50% bonus from having all light armor of the same type), but it won't really GIMP you.

Wear Otar. 30% resist to all elements means no more getting oneshotted by mages. Nightingale armor is pretty strong as well. Otar is heavy armor though as are all the masks

I've heard that the nightingale armor is leveled? I did the thieves guild pretty early so i assume i have a lesser version of it... But it's been in a chest in my house for a while so i'll see how it compares. I'll probably get sick of looking at it too though :<

Not correct, I have the 100% magicka regen mask and it's light armor.
