Long story short, i got my xbox much after oblivion's release so i never looked into it. However i've played fallout 3 + new vegas and loved them, and as far as i know oblivion/skyrim is just like a medieval version (with skyrim obviously being a billion times better than all of them)

but yeah i was just wondering whether it would be better if i beat oblivion before playing skyrim, or if it shouldn't make a difference really.

Looking to trade my Com Dom, for just about any of the other DLC characters (preferably the locust ones), or anything else so just send a PM

Honestly it wouldnt hurt. They are "not related" according to many interviews but oblivion can still get you up to date on some of the lore and details. Plus its fun and like 20 bucks. Pick it up if you have the chance. Good way to pass the time until skyrim comes out.

It wont tie into skyrim but it's a great game and I recommend buying it, you'll definetly be occupied til skyrim's release.

Buy Oblivion and mod it into, well, oblivion.

Boom, 5 years of entertainment right there.

Not on consoles.

God forbid your faith in the series is ruined from playing a mediocre installment in the series with no way of fixing it.
ADD, no. Where is the thread for Fallout OCD players?

No difference at all really.
All Elder Scrolls games tend to be self-enclosed with peppered references to past games here and there in books and whatnot.
I use sarcasm a lot. If you are offended, feel free to flame me and I'll just pretend to listen.
