Whenever someone says Alucard, I think Castlevania.

But no one ever knows what I'm talking about. They always mean the one from Hellsing.

The Japanese use the name Alucard too much. A bit excessively proud of spelling Dracula backwards.

In Castlevania's defense, that's not Alucard's actual name. Or even his name backwards. :p

It's just an alias he took on to represent his opposition to Dracula . His name's Adrian Fahrenheit Tepes.
Look, for the last time: Kirby has explained it over and over!

Off topic, but I rather dislike people who've only played SoTN.

I've played (and own) most of the Castlevanias. Not Lords of Shadow, though. That one never snagged my interest.

Played all the Metroidvanias, the 3D ones, but only touched a few of the older games.

Lords of Shadow was... fun.. if you didn't treat it like the others.

Rather have another 2D game, though.

And in Hellsing's defense, Alucard is Dracula. So yeah. Not even sure why they call him Alucard

Did I say defense? I meant offense. That's f***ing stupid

A dried up vamp is more like... a dried up vamp -.- Take Alucard for example, feeding makes him stronger, more souls, more power

That's the Hellsing guy right? I haven't watched that yet. And I can see the other side argued. Just that in that case, evil people will easily become very strong. If I have no issues with killing people, then I'll be an amazing vampire, I'll just everyone.. Whereas in the other case, being a good vampire takes discipline. You have to force yourself not to drink blood, which you want badly.

Alucard is the good guy. >_>
