They're great because they explore aspects of the game that were fully intended to be explored by the developers, but were left out for various reasons.

Like nipples? Real "exploratory".
I store dead bodies all up under my house and every night I hear them runnin' they mouths.

PC crowd = don't have to wait for Bethesda to fix things that were reported by the beta testers before it went public.
PC crowd = "wait, we get Dragonborn a month after Xbox? Pfft, here's a much better dragon-riding experience that isn't limited to a NASCAR track."
Everyone has a price. And a pain threshold.

Have you ever used a mod to say that, TC?
That are indeed many silly and pointless mods, but to say they ruins the game is just wrong in so many levels.

Have a look in some of these ones here, to those that just have this shallow and annoying mind that we pc users only use nude mods:
http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/13930
http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/2356
http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/3829
http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/4862
http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/19733
http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/27644
http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/5485
http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/3863
http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/21350

these are just a few of the mods that I use. I know that some of them may not actually be for everyone, but to say they ruin the game is just wrong in my opinion. Heck, I even make some mods now. Learning how to model with blender and using the CK isn't that hard. There are mods for everyone. I know anyone here can find something that can make the game better in some way or another.

Holy ****, I just looked at the first one, and more dragon behaviours would be amazing... I need a PC, not too big a fan of Vanilla Skyrim, but dragons that summon creatures to aid them sounds brilliant, would them feel more like a boss fight. I'd love it if Dragons had more shouts.

If I had a good PC I'd mod it. And not for those pervey mods but for some of the armor and weapons mods. Armor I mean armor not in the game like Ranger armor, not "armor mods" where the armor is reduced in terms of aesthetics :P

Personally I acknowledge that PC has the upper hand when it comes to Skyrim, but unlike the Xbox you have to install the damn thing, you have to have a good graphics card to play it, and personally I am a type of person who likes to "play when you get"

It's a matter for personal opinion, for some the vanilla game is enough, while others they want more for their money.

Hundreds and hundreds of bugfixes. Not to mention graphical and audio mods that make the game look and sound many times better. I hate to be "that guy", but playing it on an xbox really is like playing it on a toaster in comparison.

For me, because of this:

Requiem (plus the other eighty mods that I'm currently using, but mostly Requiem) really makes Skyrim feel like a completely different game.

Adds things to the game when they get bored. Pretty self explainitory. The real topic here is "why do they come on the 360 board to talk about it?"

This baffles me as well. Only thing I can think of is that most people who don't have the pc version don't care all that much, so they feel the need to validate the purchase of their high tech rig. Even this doesn't make sense tho considering there is s robust pc forum for then to discuss mods right here on gamefaqs.

So like an earlier poster said, the folks who come on either console forums to hem and haw about mods must be nerckbeard loser virgins who are looking for validation for their rig. No other explaination makes sense from a logical standpoint.
