With the ability to increase your magicka, health, and stamina to increasingly high levels you could take more advantage of builds created with regeneration in mind.

Not taking in to account the increased difficulty...are there any other ways that can be thought of to take advantage of the legendary mechanic?

Not having to use skills not related to your skill to level up past a certain point, like I had to do with my main.

Why should my Mage need to be a Master warrior to level up?

What im doing for my warrior build, is leveling up pickpocket to 100, then taking the perk points from that and using them in different skill trees. I will continue to do this until i have maxed out everything in the Warrior skill tree.

Pretty much this^

Also, you don't have to hear guards commenting on skils that have nothing to do with your playstyle. I'm glad I won't have to hear guards saying "Hands to yourself, sneak thief." with my mages ever again.
"Okay, look. We both said a lot of things your going to regret but I think we can put our differences behind use. For science. You monster.
So does this mean since I can keep leveling past 81, I can eventually get all perks in everything now?

so if the 1.9 patch gets rid of the level cap? do you have to legendarize a skill at all? or does this now mean you can work every skill up to 100 and get every perk for those skills? this is the one part of this patch I still dont get.
Some people think they can out-smart me. maybe... maybe. I have yet to meet one who can out-smart bullet! HA HA... CRY SOME MORE!

This. I'm considering legendarying everything non relevant to my battlemage main just to stop hearing that same line.

I, am a heavily armored tank, who likes Swords, Maces and Spells...not a damn sneaky person...though Sneak allways crawls up to 100 it seems in my saves for some reason, even when I'm not sneaking that often lol.

I suppose it's theoretically possible to have magicka regenerate faster than you can use it. That would be awesome.

Levelling every skill to 100 gets you to level 81. Level 81 wasn't exactly a cap before it was just the level you were when you finished leveling all skills. Legendarying skills allows you to continue levelling. This is what allows you to level indefinitely and get more perk points.
