1. Looks much better. 2. Not as OP 3. Doesn't make the game feel totally distant from it's core. Playing as a VL just makes it much less like Elder Scrolls and more like a generic action game or something.

Werewolf is good for warriors, whereas VL is good for mages and stealth. Really depends on your play style. The vampire fire weakness also requires extra preparation to make sure Yol-dragons don't mess you up.
and so I ran the only way I knew how... by placing one foot in front of the other in rapid succession.
I've done both on my two main files and I have to say it depends on the character but a true more always goes werewolf. Vampire Lord is fun, but as someone else said feels out of place in Skyrim and is pretty overpower, but then again so is werewolf if you know what you are doing.
And honestly there is no reason to use any other spell other than the grip. Someone needs to make a modded save where that spell is available to buy like any other.
