Does that mean that basically, the dwarves as a singularity helped Talos? Cos if the brass skin theory is true, that means the Dwarves basically joined as one to become the god, as is my understanding. So Talos was controlling the dwarves to win Tamriel.

That must have been a bit of an anti-climax since they went through all that effort to transcend only to help the race they used to hate.

Talos had already conquered like 90% of Tamriel by the time he got the Numidium. In fact the reason Vivec gave Talos the brass god in the first place was part of a peace treaty that allowed the Dunmer to keep their land and army unmolested by Talos' forces.

Anyway, the Dwarves are dead and gone outside the one and possibly a few others. They played little to no part in Talos' conquests.

I think it is fair to say that the dwarves plan did not work as they intended it to, or that is what I have gathered from the lore I have read.
The first game i remember playing is OOT so Im the best kind of biased
