Ok, i've only owned 2. Not counting the abandoned shack you get from The Dark Brotherhood.

I've bought Breezeway in Whiterun, and i own Mjron (w/e they're called) in Windhelm.

And the Windhelm house, fully decked out, is freakin awesome! I love the armory improvement.

I haven't bought the others, but i'm interested in hearing which is your favorite.

Also, i know the house in Windhelm is completely buggy, but i never got a housecarl, which i thought u were supposed to get with each house. Is there one there?

Not counting the abandoned shack you get from The Dark Brotherhood.

Note: You do not technically own this house, so do not store items inside because they will disappear eventually.

My favorite is Breezerun, for it's simplicity.

Solitude one is a waste of money - crappy storage

My favorite is Markath, but I haven't gotten the one in Whithelm yet to compare.

I own all houses in the game just for teh lulz, but honestly I never decorated any of them. I fear that my OCD will kick in. I just become so overwhelmed by the thought of decorating that I don't even start at all.

You can remove the glass shards, flipped chairs, barrels halfway inside the furniture, by bringing up the console menu, clicking on the object and typing "markfordelete". Quicksave F5 and then quickload F9 for everything after you delete.

Riften house is cool. I like how it has access from outside of town.

I like Markath for it's city's scenery if I were to have a home, but for the inside house, I'd go for Solitude house.... It's the nicest I've had so far (I've had 4 houses)
However, if she's happy, then I don't mind

breezerun for its proximity to 4 shops and the blacksmith.
As a tank, doing heroics is like a single player game. I just do my own thing while my AI buddies help me out.

i own only 2 so far: whiterun and riften. whiterun is just a must for cheap storage, but the only cool station u can have there is a alchemy lab. However in riften you can have both a alchemy lab and enchanter. Its not a huge deal, since you can fast travel to dragonsreach in whiterun anyway and use that enchanter. but its nice to have a shorter distance between your storage chest and an echanter. plus you get a few free soul gems with your purchase.
