How do you equip items (Greybeard robes) via console?

I'm assuming there will be a mod for these robes later, but until then, I want to see them on my character. Unfortunately when I pick them up, they dont actually show in my inventory, so I can't seem to equip them..

Sounds like they might have been made un-equippable, like several items in Oblivion (i.e. NPCs can wear them, but the player can't see them to activate and wear them). You'd need the Construction Set to change that, I think - I'm not aware of any console command that would do it.
