I just created an Orc character and I would like to know which is better: Two-handed or Dual Wield

I would think dual wield COULD be better in certain cased, thanks to Berserk Rage (and even better when combined with the shout that increases attack speed), but for general use I'd say two-handers are better.
Don't get hit and hit it until it dies, in that order.
Kill it, carve it, wear it, repeat it.

Especially as an orc dual wield is better by far. Dual wielding maces is actually the best.

The reason why is there is a damage cap per hit. Dual wielding attacks faster, and twice as many times with power attacks...and orcs damage boost allows you to hit damage cap very easily.

You also have the ability to use a weapon and spell or weapon and shield...so you have more options with dual wield.
No duckies, just drowning.

depends on what you want, with dual wield you are full on attack mode, with 2 handed at least you can block a little

Yeah, no. 700x2 vs 100x30. 1400 vs 3k. Pretty sure daggers do far more than 2h damage while sneaking.

I prefer dual wield. Swinging a 2h is extremely frustrating and slow. Also the DW power attack does a LOT of damage.
It hides fish!

I'm a fan of DW. The only thing that bothers me, and this really bothers me, is when you try to swap to DW sometimes you only bring out one weapon. Just one of those things that erks me.
