I left this board for a week and now every other topic says ENB...?

I'm guessing it's some type of graphics overhaul mod?

===============================
ENB is a graphic mod that enhances post processing effects to make games look better graphically. It’s really hard to describe ENB mods with words, so I will list some of the most popular ENBs here and you can judge yourself by looking at the screenshots provided on the mod’s respective pages. First you will have to get the binary files (source files) for ENB on it’s site [http://www.enbdev.com/download_mod_tesskyrim.htm] Note that some ENBs use different ENB versions respectively. So consult on the mod’s page to see what ENB version it is using. ENBs generally require good graphic cards (GPU) to run properly, so expect performance drops (even if you have a really good GPU, performance drops will still be there no matter what).

People are sheep they whine and bleet waiting for someone else to do all the work, then when it happens they celebrate like they single handily won a great war.

A modification of graphical effects--mostly light and shadow to the game. Many of them can add additional effects like depth of field and film grain/blur etc. Some of them can be very taxing to your system or cause problems with stability but the difference to the game world and lighting is almost night and day in some scenarios.

It's rare to get one with features that are actually tailored to your personal preferences so you may have to experiment with them and turn on/off what features you don't like. It's fairly easy to remove them without too much trouble if they are too much for your system or are giving you glitches/crashes so feel free to experiement.

There's two parts to the ENB:

1. The d3d9.dll from Boris Vallejo's site
2. The ENB preset that you downloaded from nexus

What the preset does is tell the d3d9.dll to do stuff like SSAO or Depth of Field or Bloom, etc.

That's the Wrapper version. The Injector doesn't need d3d9.dll

I like posts like these because they really nail home why an artist shouldn't give metaphorical examples.

I searched that in Google the other day and people don't really have an answer. Most of the replies are people trying to be funny, and failing. I don't think there IS an answer...lol

Best I could find is people saying that ENB is just a bunch of mods made by the same guy/mod team.
