To me, they can finish Final Fantasy XIII-2 with either DLC, or by producing Final Fantasy XIII-3. The problem with having the ending released as DLC, is people will scream and cry and complain about having to "Pay for the ending when it's already on the disc!" like they do about almost every other piece of DLC that comes out for any game, ever. And if they spend the time and money on a FFXIII-3, then we have to wait several months for the ending.
For me... I'd love a FFXIII-3. Why? Because there ARE loose ends that can't be tied up with just one DLC release... it'd take several to do this right. So why bother charging people for several DLC packs, when they can get everyone to just buy the next game? Heck, it worked for other game titles, right? And we've all seen how "Episodic DLC Packs" have turned out... I'd rather they do this correctly.
Diesel95 posted... its time move on, let FF XV get here.
Actually it was mentioned that Squeen wants the XIII (and versus XIII?) thing, that whole New Crystal Legend-I-Forget-The-Latin-Title is supposed to take a total of ten years. So, if that is really true, you'll have to wait until about 2017 for XV.
