My Vita is coming this Saturday and I'm trying to decide whether to stick to digital purchases or buy physical.

So my question is: How do you backup Vita games on your PS3? Is it like save files and everything? Do I need to purchase the game from the PS3 and then transfer it to the Vita? Or can I download it directly with the Vita using wi-fi and then back it up to my PS3.

Also, is this the same deal with downloaded PSP games as well?

Any info would be appreciated.

Well to be fair you partially did, because you convinced me to buy physical.

But, I would like to back up save files from those games on my PS3. Then there's the PSP games and (eventually) PS1 Classics that I can only get digitally and I'd like to know how to back those up so I can swap them out when I run out of memory.
