Why should anyone feel sorry for the TC, it's his own fault.

No one told him to import a system.

And not being able to get support in case of problems HAS ALWAYS BEEN something you need to consider before importing.

Hi there bratt100,

Not sure where you live but I live in sydney and when ever I have a console screw up on me and it's out of warranty I use these guys:

They aren't sony approved or whatever, but me, and friends of mine have always had great customer support from them, no complaints at.

Sorry the update bricked your Vita, TC. Hopefully one of the Australian gentlemen's suggestions work for getting your system fixed.

While I do think Sony should do something, this is the risk you take when importing electronics. Warranties and Services will be limited to the buyer.

ITP: You should not expect customer service to do their damn job when you buy a product from a company. Nor should you expect them to repair under warranty even though that is also their damn job.
