I wonder when some of these guys even play games. They also ducked and dodged my 2nd post, though responded to my first one in seconds. Interesting. Its also interesting how a dead or flopped system sells over 150,000.
As long as you believe in yourself, nothing may overcome you.

In comparion, the 3DS sold 250k. Looks like the 3DS isn't doing that great in the US.

This is what surprised me the most, I was expecting a lot more. I can't understand how 160k is a flop and 250k is an amazing success for some people here

The 3ds sold 795k its first black Friday last year, this year nearly everyone has a 3ds, but hardly anyone had a vita. With the vita selling only 160k, that's pitiful, no matter how you want to spin it, when the 3ds and ds sold more one again, with already a huge market share

Less than a 100k would have been utterly terrible. Glad it broke the 6-digit barrier. A 160k is still way below average for a first year system that also got price reductions and/or incentives during the biggest shopping day of the year. Black Friday should be complete sell outs for electronics and gadgets. So... even the price isn't giving the Vita much appeal. It's either Sony's gouging or lack of support an kids-adults are seeing that and keeping away from the system.

This could be the death nail for the Vita. 160k Is pathetic as it, but when you look at how the price was cut and it came with a free game and memory card and it still lost to an 8 year old DS?

And the 3DS sales were pretty bad too but at the same time a LOT more people have a 3DS already so sales would obviously be less. You would think due to the fact that far less people have a Vita that it would sell more, but it STILL lost.

I don't really disagree with you but isn't it that the VITA is much lesser know than the 3DS?

I grabbed a PS3 250GB Infamous bundle on BFriday.

only because of advertising. I think if Sony actually made some ads, the Vita could do decent.
