Is to give it a nicer home button. You need to hit it so often abd the current one feels kind of cheap

removing the touch panel on the back and extending the battery out a bit further would kill two birds with one stone for me.
If I support the game company, then I won't be supporting the blank DVD business.

This. Add L2/R2 buttons instead of having that stupid rear touch, also leaving more room for battery or w/e.

I would complain about the start/select buttons, but they're surprisingly easy to push considering how tiny they are.

Replacing the OLED with something as efficient.

Or at least Sony/Sammy implementing Ignis tech.. w/c they didn't so you get plenty of vertical lines and block splotches... poor color calibration as well but that's a software issue.

I'd switch the locations of the D-Pad and left analog. Also, PS button would be Select button (keeping the size and shape though), the current Select and Start buttons wold be replaced with a Start button and the Vita logo would act like the PS button.

If you get one of those silicone/gel skin protectors, they can make it a bit easier to press the home button and start/select. I use this one:

http://www.walmart.com/ip/Hori-PS-Vita-Silicone-Protector-PS-Vita-PlayStation-Vita/20469969

You can see the borders around the buttons and the part of the skin that covers them. It's flush with the rest of the skin, but the border makes it a easier to press them.

I would change the volume buttons to a slider type control similar to the 3ds. I hate the volume buttons on the vita.

Why do you hate the volume buttons? I prefer it over the slider.
