There should be some add-on like the 3DS' Circle Pad Pro.

hmm no.. one of the reasons why i didnt get the 3ds is cause vita has dual analog sticks already

So why not have the option?

Why not just make games specifically designed for the hardware?

We play on PC too, without L2/R2 either !

Yeah, but keyboards and a mouse are a wee bit different then this.

A few years ago, we were also playing without L2/R2 or keyboard or mouse on NES, SNES and others.
You can also handle your inventory without using a touch screen, just with a different User Interface that's all.

From all the games I've played, I'm not too sure more buttons equal better games either. In fact, a clear interface is often a good sign whereas bloated controls are often bad. But that's something else.

this

its not like last gen where no 2nd analog stick really hindered certain games

as for PS4 remote, I use Select + R & L = R2 & L2 for current remote play and it works pretty.

How do you think we can play PS1 games on this then? O_o
The touch pad can be used for L2/R2, the screen for L3/R3, there is no other way.

AT least on ff8 those l2/r2 buttons were random so they wouldn't work too great. It would nice if you could choose to where l2/l3 and r2/r3 are exactly on the rear touch. Like choose corners etc.
