Assuming it was ported well... Yes

If the frame rate like ratchet I'm not buying...

I can't wait for this game. I've never played the series. But I will wait for reviews to make sure the frame rate is up to code.

I'm still undecided on whether to buy it. Do the games really hold up that well?

I think it looks fine. Definitely nothing like FFA.

And I would definitely recommend the series to new fans. They're still a lot of fun to play.

What are these games like? Someone said it's like zelda and mario 64, is that a good comparison? Open world at all, or really linear? Lots of collectibles, weapons, upgrades, etc?

1 is like Mario64. But 2&3 are more GTA-ish.

1 is one of the greatest platformers ever made. If it doesn't have horrible frame rate i might consider it.
