Well..there was uh...no...

Short list:

Borderlands 2 port
Discount of Vita and memory cards
New model Vita: LCD screen, 1 GB internal memory, +1 hour battery life, lighter, slightly cheaper
New memory card: 64 GB
New Vita TV: Small device that plays most Vita games and everything available through PSN (touch screen heavy games excluded), uses DS3 and soon DS4, can stream PS4 like the Vita.
A crapload of Japanese games that will never see the light of Western day

nothing new, just some new ports and indies. A 2000 model, before they could even sell the first and a TV Vita thing for Japan only.

They were, most flop handhelds last a good 3 to 5 years before they are discontinued. Look at game gear, game.com, lynx, ngpc and wonderswan. When I say good I don't mean supported, just dangling on the market for 3 to 5 years and they all had a remodel or two also.
