Don't get why Jak 2 has so much hate but Jak 3 doesn't. Jak 3 is just as obnoxious at times. In fact, the entire first half of Jak 3 is downright terrible. Forcing you to do driving mission after driving mission after driving mission in those absolutely horrendous cars with the worst handling ever seen in a video game... I forgot how bad it was, but after the PS3 HD collection, I never want to play the first half of Jak 3 again.

Which reminds me, why are you even playing this on Vita in the first place? The Vita versions of all games are crap. Should have got the collection for PS3 instead.

The fake difficulty in both games is ridiculous. I quit Jak 2 during the vat level and Jak 3 during the escort-shooting-hovercraft level because the game was literally cheating.

A lot of Vita fanboys are still in heavy denial about this, claiming the framerates are fine.

Really? I think even Vita fanboys can admit that this is a really crappy port.

Jak II is a hard game but it was still the best of the series. But I can understand how new comers might find it too aggravating to complete - modern games are far easier, what with regenerating health, constant hand-holding, very forgiving checkpoints and so on.

I would suggest sticking with it though. It's worth it in the end.
