I think very low (sub-zero) temperatures may affect the battery (as in it wouldn't turn on). I remember my going out snowboarding during a snowy day and my Sony digital camera wouldn't turn on because of the cold. It worked fine when I went indoors, but then my problem was the condensation that formed all over it.
No damage, however.
Huh. Well, I do manipulate my iPhone out in the cold days with it snows. Other from slow responsiveness from icy fingers, I had no damage done to my iPhone.
Well, anyway, thank you for your suggestion. I'm really starting to think that it's best NOT to play it outside when it's snowing.
