The launch FIFA Soccer title was/is really good, and Madden 13 is a solid game. Why then has EA just re-skinned FIFA the past 2 years and did not put out a Madden game last year? Is it low sales, remote play with the PS4 or a combination of the two?

Kind of a shame for those that don't have a PS4 and play mostly on portable systems. EA at least put out yearly titles on the PSP, and also brought over NFL Street Vol. 2.

Ea totally favors the smartphones now...a land where they can cram their microtransaction-riddled apps like Dungeon Keeper and Simpson Tapped out without being criticized by the "core" gamers.

Since, even under the best of circumstances, EA would probably only be putting it's sports titles on the system anyway, I tend to agree.

Wouldn't mind some Battlefield or Mirror's Edge on it, though.

But yeah, when it comes to sports titles I am more bummed by the lack of an NBA 2k title then all the EA games combined times about a thousand.

More or less, yes.

And it's a horrible thing mainly because it means there's no chance of an NHL vita game ever.

Would've been nice to see a burnout on the Vita. Criterion needs to bail EA somehow. (Just being idealistic, I don't expect it).
