I just bought a oled vita today- I'm happy
Fractal 304 node, i5 4670k, gtx 770 2gb, 8gb ddr3 1600, 7200rpm 500gb, 128 samsung SSD, no overclock

Get the older version cause if you wanna sell it for more you can say its the limited kind,plus its better thn an lcd

it got rid of the OLED burn-in screen. That's upgrade enough for me.

Don't know what screen burn is but when I get a black screen (not power off) these black holes/smudges shows up on the screen.

Does the LCD function better outside than the OLED? Basically if I'm riding in a car on a sunny day the OLED is very hard to see anything on.

The black smudges is not burn in- that is just the way oled is glued on or something. Screen burn in is when you leave an image on the screen for to long it can burn in and mute colors and in worst case actually leave a permenatly image on the screen.

Oled burn in on the vita is a myth. A casual to hardcore user won't get it. You would have to leave the screen on frozen for hours for it to burn in

I wouldnt call it a myth it has just been blown out of proportion . My friend got burn in from the web browser but he uses it more then games and isn't very careful about burn in even after having me tell him to be. I am scared for the plasma i sold him
