I like true roguelikes (it annoys me when ppl call rogue-lites a roguelike) but yes, they are pretty hard.

I love Omega Labyrinth Z, though being reset to level 1 at the start of every dungeon is hard. That and the fact I am relying on Google Translate as I have 0 clue what's going on aside from get to the end of the dungeon.

I like the more forgiving roguelikes, like Pokemon Mystery Dungeon series or Sorcery Saga Curse of the Curry God.
I've found I can't enjoy sidescroller roguelikes or Mystery Dungeon series that are more true to the genre like Shiren.

I'd enjoy Dragon Fin Soup if it wasn't a glitch filled mess, still waiting on that Chunky update.

But DT2 isn't a Rouge-like. If anything you use that to talk about Omega Labyrinth and it's sequel.

Agree, dungeon crawler is one thing and roguelike is another
if anything else i prefer waiting for some cheap dungeon crawler, roguelike can turn out frustrating pretty fast.

DT2 doesn't have randomly generated maps.

On topic: They're okay. I don't outright hate them but there's a rare few I actually enjoy.
