Played the demo on PS4 and really liked it. Kinda wanna get the game but I'm undecided on which version. Vita is cheaper and will probably be rarer in the future but PS4 will look better and has more buttons for stuff (if that even matters?). Which one should I get.
I like games and anime. My favorite games include the following: Mother 1-3, Final Fantasy VI, Chrono Cross, Zelda LA-ALttP-OoT-MM-ALBW, and Super Smash Bros.

If you care about portability, then get the Vita version.

If you don't, then get the PS4 version. Should also note that the PS4 version has extra content that's not in the Vita version.

the game plays fantastically on vita so you have to ask yourself if the difference is worth the extra content the ps4 has. i remember thinking it wasnt worth $20 more

All I know is that the Vita version is fantastic and I've never once felt that I needed more buttons to do anything. I have seen people complain about the PS4 version having subpar graphics, whereas on the Vita it looks very impressive (for the technology). Some of the translation "problems" that I've seen mentioned don't seem to exist in my Vita copy of the game - for example, Hummel's line about trying not to make a sound when you close the door. I've also read about a glitch where the game randomly lowers the difficulty without any input from the player - something else that seems exclusive to the PS4 version.

Things that I've noticed in a guide that seem to be missing from the Vita version (from what I've played so far, and I'm at the end of chapter 5 out of 6) include more fish (big deal), a new "form" for Dana that takes all the challenge out of a certain boss fight, and 1 treasure chest that contains an empty bottle.

Only get the Vita version if you don't have a PS4. Otherwise the PS4 version is the Directors Cut that looks and plays better.

"Plays Fantastically" for a Vita game perhaps, but action games really require 60 FPS to get the full experience. Otherwise it feels sluggish.

"Full Experience", please tell me you're not one of those guys that chooses graphics over gameplay. Cause back then it was all about gameplay nowadays it's all about graphics which is ruining games.

I though you just used your Vita only for remoteplay, truly unbiased and useful advice.

Just to add to Fwibbles post, the Vita version also has exclusive costumes iirc if that's your thing TC. The portability is the main draw, and I'm guessing the Vita version was probably produced in smaller quantities than the PS4 version and may be harder to get in the future.
