Have a PS2 in storage (backlog) & a PS4 at another house, but yes I'm a handheld only gamer nowadays.
Portability is just so convenient, I can get comfy & portable games tend to have smaller maps or less filler which I prefer.

Yes.
I don't really like the kinds of games found on home consoles any more, and haven't since the X360 and PS3 era.
The only real exception to this is fighting games, but I only play local multiplayer anyway. I have a PS3 and a Wii U hooked up to a TV (I actually bought a TV just for those!) and both each one at the end of their lifespans so I could get the few games I wanted to play on each respective system, but my gaming time is 95% portable, 5% home consoles, and that is mostly local multiplayer.

Pretty much. PSP and Vita, 3DS for Monster Hunter. PS3 for a Vita external hard drive and for Gran Turismo 6.

It's not dumb if there isn't anything that appeals to you otherwise.

I can count three whole games on PS4 I might want to play. I am Setsuna, Nobunaga's Ambition, and EDF5.

I can get the first two elsewhere, and EDF on PC. I'm not really missing anything I'd want.
The funny thing is my PS4 might want to play list is very similar to my Switch might want to play list. Te inevitable future Animal Crossing and Kirby are what's going to finally get me to buy one of those.

Yes. I don't have the patience to fiddle around with console setup before I can actually get to playing the game.

Nope, and never plan to be, but I've definitely gravitated more toward handhelds in recent years. One reason is that many of the games I'm most interested in are solely available on handhelds, but the convenience factor also plays a big role. It's not even so much the portability as it is the fact that the system, screen, controller, etc. are all in one. Having to pull out and set up home consoles has become a big deterrent to me, especially when most of my gaming is at night, not long before I head to bed, when I'm already tired. I suppose it's fine for people who only play on one or two home consoles and keep them hooked up all the time, but I own dozens of consoles and I've never liked to focus on just one for a long span. I've always liked jumping back and forth across gaming's history with what I play, playing, say, an NES game, followed by a modern game, followed by a Genesis game, then a PS2 game, etc. etc. Modern home consoles have all the more put me off too, with all the menus, installing, updating, etc. That's not to say modern handhelds haven't gone in that direction either, but Vita is decently fast for my tastes, especially when nearly all of my games are physical.
