Is it possible?
Want to play Mgs:PW but want something more recent than PSP.
So would PSP games run on Vita?

yes, psp games can run on vita, but not all and there are some caveats...
in rare cases youll need a ps3 to download and transfer, but iirc peacewalker isnt one of em.

sidenote:
setting the camera to the r-stick is essential
when playing psp titles you can hold down on the PS home button and then tap settings to change button layout.

well, ps3 version has trophies if thats your thing.
the vita is more if youre into playing on the go.

i own both versions and the ps3 is gonna be better sure.
same for most titles that have a home console counterpart...
theyre going to be more distiguished/pronounced on a device thats got the real horsepower.

gotta consider too that the psp version of peacewalker can only use infrastructure multi through adhoc party via ps3.
i mean... local adhoc works, but not many people these days may have a friend/SO to play with nearby.
the ps3 vers can just go to multi with no hoops to jump through.
server should still be up id think, though its been years since i played that vers.

Only if the trophies, online capabilities & better control schemes matter to you.

I don't care for trophies or graphics. Neither for online gameplay.
Maybe i should get portable, then.
