Personally, I was going to mention Lost Song but after playing Asterisk War, I changed my mind. Asterisk War felt increibly simple and fails to be both a good arena fighter and a good dating simulator (even Hollow Realization had a better dating sim). Plus, the story was boring, there was just not enough content to replay again, and the online is somewhat dead. At least Lost Song has enough content to play, the multiplayer is surprisingly enjoyable (when you find players anyway), and for a Vita game, it is somwhat impressive.

Yeah I think SAO Lost Song still takes the title as my least favourite anime game that I've played.
In the end it was a really simple Platinum & just a bland game all around.

SAO:HR on the other hand is very good and probably the best one so far.

It's definitely up there for good anime ARPGs.

Not an anime game.

What qualifies a game as an "Anime gamer" then?
Does it actually have to have a Japanese animated series of that game to count?
In that case, I think I only own Psychopass (did not know there was a show about it, I just liked the sound of the premise), and Macross Delta Scramble.

I like Delta Scramble, and have put off starting Psychopass since I learned I had to watch a show to know about the game first.
Of those I own, it'll probably be Psychopass, but I can't be sure how much I enjoy the story just yet.

Edit, I guess the Utawaremono games and Steins;Gate games too, but again. I like the latter, and have put off the former because of learning I'm supposed to watch a series of shows to know what's going on.

Yep, aside from the performance problem at launch, it's a step in the right direction for the series imo.
Kind of wish the next game wasn't GGO, but a re-imagining of the Alfeim arc or just jump into the Alicization arc (if it has an interesting VR world).

Too many people misuse anime when they mean anime-styled. Just being clear.
