I don't really care about new weapons, because they should be focused on fixing the ones that are already there. But it is kinda funny how BF is basically becoming COD with the whole paying more for less thing. I mean I think BC1's DLC was free or like $5, BC2 Vietnam was much bigger than any BF3 expansion and it was $15.
I mainly got premium for the maps. However, BF3 including all DLC's is too big a game and I believe it would've been better if they split the game into two independent games rather than have this perpetual release over a year - it tends to scatter the player base in several directions and the overall quality decreases.
Perhaps, some of the maps, weapons, etc, should of been saved for BF4 or Ba d Company 3. When only some people have access to certain maps, the game loses some depth.
EA has changed the wording of what premium is, but they haven't removed content. Just like with the "Bonus Content"(Crappy digital art), people assumed something that wasn't stated. It said "Enhance your Battlefield experience", but never said that it was in game content. Even though it lists "in game" content separately. The same confusion came with the the release of armored kill and the "Base vehicle" upgrades that were only for the vehicles on armored kill. They have tightened up the wording to try and eliminate more confusion in the future.
They only promised 20 new weapons, and we got them. !0 from BTK and 10 from CQ. If there is something that says otherwise, I would love to see it.
