Just played Caspian.
Used CITV and designated a lot of vehicles that got killed enemies.
Got the 10 designatated vehicles but not the 1 assist.
Hmm. Anyone know how it should be done ?

Yeah I think the assist must come from your SOFLAM.

I just used the SOFLAM and got all of them after flying a MAV around for a bit to get the spots.

I locked onto a scout helicopter with CITV station, someone hit it, and I didn't get the "Get 1 designated assist"... then 5 seconds later I did the exact same thing on the second heli, and I got it (it was the only thing left for me to do on that assignment.

There was absolutely no difference between the first heli I designated and the second one. Both got hit, and I got assists for both, but only the second one counted.

I have absolutely no idea why.
Go ahead. Make my day.

Probably more of a glitch than purposefully stupid.

Yes. You were right.
SOFLAM did the trick.
Got it in first try :)
