Each of the 3 DLC is 800... why would I get the season pass at 2400 then?

A slight benefit? If you were planning on buying all of the DLC:

Hidden Secrets: 400 MSP
Battle Hardened: 400 MSP
King Washington Part 1: 800 MSP
King Washington Part 2: 800 MSP
King Washington Part 3: 800 MSP
TOTAL: 3200 MSP

With a Season Pass, you save ten dollars (800 MSP).

To compare, Borderlands 2's Season Pass contents:

Captain Scarlett: 800 MSP
Torgue: 800 MSP
Hammerlock: 800 MSP
DLC 4: 800 MSP
LEVEL CAP INCREASE: 400 MSP
TOTAL: 3600 MSP

With a Season Pass, you save fifteen dollars (1200 MSP).

tl;dr: You're getting the same discount you always do with a Season Pass.

Fixed it for you.

This. The BL2 season pass is turning out to be a steal. I bought Scarlette and Torgue separately and am seriously starting to regret it.
