what's better for sorcerer grace solo or with pawns?

Depends on style of play really, I like going in with a full group of sorcerers. Since the Ur usually targets me as soon as the battle starts. Watching him get hit and dropped by 3 high maelstroms usually allows me to just charge and fire my holy focused bolts. I'll admit I do want to try a solo run eventually, I've just been to lazy to max out the assassin class on either of my sorcerer accounts.

I prefer going solo for maximum damage. With a very active dragon, it can be quite challenging, but not too bad. Most of the time, I do not even know what I am firing at (standard, charge up focus bolt whilst moving, when charged, release). Occasionally he stops so that I can recover my stamina (when I mean move, I occasionlly need to run). I can always kill him in one round. I have no idea whether, with pawns, you can kill him in one round. I suppose it depends on your base magic (mine is only 670).

Not to bad, though pity is random. I did one round once and got three lustrous shields and a weapon. Surprised me because I did not realise at the time that you could get duplicates.

Can't always count on multiple weapons with multiple rounds, though. The Gen That Shall Remain Nameless was a huge disappointment for me not because I missed the kill while fighting in G-race due to exceptionally hardened Dragon, but because the reward for fourteen hours of steady rounds one after the other was... one Ascalon, some RC and a pair of coin bags.

My hands ached for two months after that Saturday. I also think the pity reward was changed after Gen 104 or thereabouts.
