They were showcasing the Wii as very fun, indicating to buy their tires in order to get the Wii, sounds like advertising to me...

Bridgestone is showing this...

Sony = Jackasses.

I hope Kevin Butler (Lambert), never does a single ad for them again.

He's under a legal contract. He broke it by doing a commercial that also advertised a competitors product. If people could advertise a competitors product without legal action, companies would be paying top dollar to steal competitors spokespersons. Basically, it would be end of using people as mascots behind an ad campaign

Those contracts are timed. When was the last Kevin Butler commercial?

Also, I doubt Bridgestone's legal team would have fired him if he was still under contract with someone else.

Again, they weren't saying to buy a Nintendo product, they were saying buy a bridgestone product and get something free.

Clearly he was trying to promote the Wii and cause WiiU sales to drop.
Sony didn't get the memo about this double agent mission.

Sony loves filing lawsuits. They sued over the Bleem! PSone emulator, they sued people who hacked their PS3s, now they're suing their old salesperson. I wonder if I left anyone out and who might be next.

Whaaaat, they sued people that were profiting off of an illegal emu?!
Then they sued someone that broke into the PS3 and made it easy for pirates to pirate games?!
And then someone that broke a contract?!

Damn that Sony!!!

Mods are only used for piracy? I didn't know that! Thank you for teaching me this important lesson!
Jerry Lambert (Kevin Butler) is one of the worst people in the gaming industry.

There is a difference between cross promotion and this. He wasn't advertising Nintendo in the traditional sense or in any real way. They were advertising Bridgestone.

Plus, no matter what this is incredibly petty and childish. There is a difference between suing for breach of contract and just being plain asses.
