http://www.digitaltrends.com/gaming/lifetime-sales-67-million-xbox-360s-64-million-playstation-3s-96-million-nintendo-wiis/

While Microsoft and Sony have experienced losses producing their consoles in the hopes of making a long-term profit on software sales, Nintendo reportedly has optimized production costs to obtain a significant profit margin with each Wii unit sold.[99] On September 17, 2007, the Financial Times reported that this direct profit per Wii sold may vary from $13 in Japan to $49 in the United States and $79 in Europe.[100] On December 2, 2008, Forbes reported that Nintendo makes a $6 operating profit per Wii unit sold.[101]

I think Nintendo may just make it.

High sales don't mean jack. 90% of all Wii owners are not even gamers.

Let's just stop the insanity now. You're not helping your cause.

^ That was a weak response the first time I read it (years and years ago), and it's still weak today.

You can't take anybody seriously if they have an account that's a year old, right? Oh, I mean... and if they make a point you disagree with.

**Non-sensical, neurotic speculation about not gaining any Karma in that amount of time, conspiracy theories, et al.**

Uh huh. Yup.

It's not a point I disagree with. He's ignoring facts that are public domain.... Did you happen to read the whole topic??

This is a troll topic, and if you don't see it as such.... don't know what to tell you.

Nintendo will always be behind Microsoft and Sony when it comes to the tech. They rush out early with a new system. Which will only hurt them in the long run.

You should tell that to PS1 and PS2, I don't think they got the memo.

Nintendo has Zelda, Mario Kart, and finally a new Monster Hunter game...
I say Nintendo kicks major butt!
Not to mention Nintendo is doing Apps and who knows what else.
So... as they say... the possibilities are endless!

yes and they end just under the glass ceiling of that os and ram capacity. I vote that the next console by nintendo should be a yellow wedge and it should be called "Block of Cheese". and I would buy it to say "do you want to play on my block of cheese?"

But once Microsoft and Sony sees what the Wii U can do, they just going to top it. Then, once again, Nintendo's hardware will be left in the dust.

That won't happen. Why? ...Well, remember the PS Move? ...Neither do I.
